Hi everyone,

I thought I'd share my ideas about quitting smoking, yes sure I know about the patch and all these bogus pills, sprays or gums... but out of my family's personal experience, I know that 90% don't work and out of that remaining 10%, 90% of those don't work without any side-effects. Most of us fail on the first try at quitting, and I think I understand why.... you see, between the piles of scams there might be a few jewels that REALLY work so what are your chances of finding that ONE perfect solution... probably not much.

These are probably the things you want when you quit smoking:

1. You don't want to feel a sense of loss, obviously you don't want to miss smoking at all.

2. You don't want to suffer from hunger

3. You don't want to suffer from uncontrollable eating binges, obviously you wish to stay at the weight you are now.

4. You don't want to have to repeat some prescribed line to motivate yourself

5. You don't want to prepare a smoker's diary because it wastes your precious time

6. You don't want to prepare an action plan of some kind every day to guide you

7. You don't want to set a quit date to worry about every day.

8. You don't want to have to avoid social occassions

9. You don't want to do some kind of breathing exercises to overcome cravings

10. You don't want to spend your hard earned money on medicines or nicotine control drugs.

11. You don't want to require will-power to overcome smoking

12. You don't want to drink water every few minutes to overcome cravings (going to the toilet all day is such a waste of time)

13. You don't want to suffer anxiety when you quit

14. You want to be able to stay a non-smoker for as long as you need or want.

Wow... thats quite a long list hey? My only advice for quitting smoking is to invest $47 into the EasyQuit System, it is a succesful e-book written by Pete Howells.
